This award winning CDOT project, was the reconstruction of CO SH 86 from I-25 to Woodlands Boulevard, and consisted of full concrete removal and replacement at an 11” depth on a 6 lane width road with turn pockets and acceleration and deceleration lanes for 1.8 miles. The project crossed 5 major intersections, including the on and off ramp for northbound I-25. There were 2 major milestones reached with incentive payments and an early completion of almost a month.
