Concrete Works of Colorado was awarded a contract to provide major renovations to Colorado Boulevard, the busy main thoroughfare in Idaho Springs, Colorado. This project began in April of 2005 and was completed late in the fall. New construction included removing the old roadway of 6th avenue and replacing it with a modern asphalt street. In addition, construction included new retaining walls, drainage infrastructure, new curbs, and decorative accessories.
