Concrete Works of Colorado was an integral member of a great team
that replaced Larimer Street in the heart of Larimer Square in Denver,
Colorado, one of the state’s busiest retail and visitor centers.
New construction included completely removing the old roadway of Larimer
Street and replacing it with a modern, high-quality concrete roadway.
In addition, construction included curbs and gutters, tree grate replacement,
and detailed architectural concrete reconstruction of all intersection
corners. The Larimer project won an American Concrete Paving Association
local award and the American Concrete Institute award.
Working in a bustling business area is not unusual for Concrete
Works of Colorado. The Larimer Street project, however, was completed
in 10 days from start to finish.
