Work has begun on the Winslow Road project in Edwards. The 3.2 million dollar project is located on Winslow Road from Miller Ranch Road to Berry Creek Road with the majority of the work just south of I-70, under I-70 to just north of I-70. Improvements will include significant cast-in-place concrete retaining walls, permanent ground anchor walls, the replacement of street pavement, curb and gutter replacement, and the addition of a 10 foot-wide sidewalk beneath I-70.  Because Winslow Road is one of the major entrances into the Berry Creek neighborhood, significant landscaping and urban design improvements are a major part of the project. The Berry Creek Homeowners Association, formerly the Berry Creek Metro District, is funding the project.  Jim Levernier and Gary Coffey are the project superintendents.
