Award Winning Airport Construction
Concrete Works of Colorado crews have provided award winning airport construction for a variety of airports in Colorado and Wyoming including the Riverton Regional Airport, the Gunnison-Crested Butte Airport, Walker Field in Grand Junction, Yampa Valley Regional Airport, the Jackson Hole Airport, the Rock Springs Airport, the Laramie Regional Airport, the Sheridan County Airport, the Fort Collins/Loveland Municipal Airport, the Montrose Regional Airport, Lamar Municipal Airport, Eagle County Regional Airport, Telluride Regional Airport, and Buckley Air Force Base.
This FAA project included three separate schedules of work lasting over two working seasons. The highlighted work on the apron and air infield improvement project is 61,500 SY of 4″ lean concrete and 16.5 “full strength concrete removal and replacement.
This City of Colorado Springs project, included 30,000 SY of full depth concrete removal and replacement at a 16” depth.
